         The Cottage Shop was originally created by Kellogg Supply Company to offer cottage owners direct access to the latest trends and fashion in Coastal Living Decor. The Cottage Shop has grown to be the home of Outer Banks Style for visitors and cottage owners alike, featuring home accents, unique coastal gifts, beach fashion, holiday decor and outdoor furniture. Kellogg Supply Company has been doing business on the Outer Banks as a building materials and home center since 1946. Thriving to make the home ownership experience complete, The Cottage Shop also offers an all-inclusive Cottage Package program. Complete kitchen packages have been designed to accommodate homes ranging in size from 12 to 24 guests but may be expanded to fit any number. Bedding, bath and recreational packages are also available.

Our Beginning
Kitty Hawk Kites, Inc. was founded in 1974 by John Harris, a pioneer in hang gliding, to provide instruction, products, and service to the burgeoning new sport. In the late 1980s, Kitty Hawk Kites expanded into what is now it's two businesses; providing recreational adventures such as Hang Gliding, Kayaking, Kiteboarding, Jet Skiing, Parasailing and much, much more; selling kites (such as stunt kites, power kites and single line kites), toys, wind art, Life is Good, OBX apparel and gifts from it's retail outlet stores and on our online store.
