In the days of yore:
Notorious Mo Skitos XVIII, or, "Bloody Mo Jr." , as locals recount, is said to have led the most blood-thirsty band of plasma pirates the Outer Banks, NC has ever suffered. In the olden days on the OBX, you learned quick that early mornings, early evenings and on through the night were feeding times for these relentless blood-thieving pirates.
In the Days of Yore, there was daily hunting and fishing on the OBX by locals for sure. Of course, there were early-morning and late-night walks on the beach. Of course, there were countless nights spent staring at the uncluttered skies the OBX showered on our ancient ancestors. In those days, the night sky was basically, the first "Night With the Stars TV" as there was literally nothing more entertaining back in the day. There were many nights a hunk of meat or fish was dropped over the fire in the protective hills and valleys of our famous dunes, but there weren't many care-free mornings or evenings being enjoyed during bug season, because...
